Julia Andres from Schwedt (Germany*1987) studied Instrumental Pedagogy with special focus on Recorder from 2007 till 2012 with Professor Christoph Huntgeburth at the University for Arts in Berlin. She received the highest grade on her final examination.After postgraduate studies in modern performance with Susanne Froehlich and in historical performance with Christoph Huntgeburth she currently follows her aims in contemprorary music within a Master of music. Musicians such as Prof. Gerd Lünenbürger, Antonio Politano among others, gave their great musical impulses and influenced her art. In 2005 and 2006 she was winner of "Young Musicians" at the national competition in the categories recorder solo and new music. Since 2011 she is a fellow of "Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now Berlin".
That same year, she starts taking private singing lessons with the Baroque soloist Doerthe Maria Sandmann
Julia Andres (*1987), studierte Instrumentalpädagogik mit dem Hauptfach Blockflöte von 2007 bis 2012 in der Klasse von Prof. Christoph Huntgeburth an der Universität der Künste Berlin. Ihre Diplomprüfung im instrumentalen Hauptfach schloss sie mit dem Höchstprädikat ab. Daran anknüpfend studierte sie im künstlerischen Aufbaustudium bei Susanne Fröhlich im Schwerpunkt Neue Musik und weiterhin historische Aufführungspraxis bei Prof. Huntgeburth. Nach abgeschlossenem Aufbaustudium studiert sie derzeit den Master of Music im Bereich Neue Musik bei Susanne Fröhlich.
Musiker wie Prof. Gerd Lünenbürger, Antonio Politano uvm. gaben ihr musikalische Impulse und prägten ihr künstlerisches Schaffen. 2005 und 2006 wurde sie Preisträgerin beim Bundeswettbewerb „Jugend musiziert“ in den Kategorien Blockflöte solo und Neue Musik. Seit 2011 ist sie Stipendiatin von „Yehudi Menuhin- Live Music Now Berlin e.V.“.
Im selben Jahr nahm sie ein privates Gesangsstudium bei der Barocksolistin Doerthe Maria Sandmann auf.
